ALS POEM

I approached King Cross
The power and social change I was feeling
Emanating from this building as I looked up at the ceiling

As I press the bell, I don't know what to tell
I was met with a friendly smile and a 'hello!'
And told to wait for a while
Thirty one seconds later a vibrant voice said
It's policy and procedure to wait a while
Diversity and flexibility are what these people are about
She gave me a core monitoring form to fill out

When I first went into the drop in
I was vexed and perplexed and chaos was breeding
I spent my time reading and reading

what we do
